The Gallery at the Hillsborough Arts Council at 220 South Churton Street features “Structures” a show of ceramic work by Noah Riedel.  The show runs from August 28 through September 17.  Opening reception on August 27 from 6 – 9 pm.

Churton Street Gallery at 100 South Churton Street features "Country Soul" a collection of oil paintings inspired by historic Pope Farm by Jennifer Miller.  Show runs from August 19 through October 18.  Artist reception on August 27 from 6 – 9 pm.

Renee Montague

Renee Montague Studio Gallery at 132 West King Street features the work of native, North Carolina artist Renee Montague. Her work, inspired by nature includes watercolors of the sublime Eno River and the magnificent North Carolina coast.  Also see her oil paintings, little gems that present the lotus seed pod in unique and surprising ways.  In addition to these current bodies of work, you can shop through her archives that reach back through 29 years of dedication to the production of fine art.  Reception on August 27 from 6 – 9 pm.
