Free Concert Series!
From April through September, 6:30 to 9:30 pm a free concert is featured on the old courthouse lawn alongside visual arts, dance, and literature.
Last Fridays Art Walk features art galleries and venues hosting opening night receptions.
Artists, food vendors, musicians and craftspeople set up their wares on the sidewalks around the courthouse.
The sidewalk cafes of local restaurants remain open.
Art Galleries, shops, restaurants, churches, museums and historic sites remain open and offer numerous special events.
Events, and workshops for children take place on the South lawn of the Courthouse.
Children’s Programs Planner for Last Fridays
The Hillsborough Arts Council is pleased to announce that Tim Wells will be the Children’s Program Planner for Last Fridays. The multi-talented Tim is a teacher with experience in early childhood and middle school and a professional musician. He has provided children’s programs at festivals and parties and will bring his creativity and expertise to enliven our own Last Fridays this year.
To coincide with Hillsborough's Last Fridays, from April through September, the Museum will offer family friendly art workshops on the last Friday evening of each month from 6pm- 8pm. The workshops will explore different art and craft techniques based on collection items and local history.

The Hillsborough Arts Council is an all volunteer non-profit organization supporting the arts in Hillsborough, NC with funding support in part from the Hillsborough Tourism Board , the Orange County Arts Commission and private contributions, sponsors the Last Fridays program.
