David Sovero
Churton Street Realty Gallery features works by David Sovero at 121 North Churton Street, Suite 1-C. David trained at the Peruvian National Arts College. He is an artist who is like a fountain of rich color, offering us new forms, concepts and elements of art, over many generations. David's Incan ancestral roots were saturated with a thousand years of Andean stylized figures. His everyday existence and relationships are intimately tied to his work, with shadowy semi-abstract specters emerging from the darkness of the canvas. His surreal compositions and simplistic geometric forms are based in lines, texture and dimension, giving freedom to his talent and creativity. David is also a musician and a jeweler.
