• Arts North Carolina, The arts make communities, schools, and caregiving organizations healthy and comforting places to live and learn and feed the human spirit for a lifetime. ARTS North Carolina serves all organizations and individuals who participate in the arts and who understand the power of collective action. Our programs are designed to strengthen the arts industry and increase public awareness, appreciation, and support for the value of the arts.

• Hillsborough Orange County Chamber of Commerce, the voice of the business community in Hillsborough and Northern Orange County.

• North Carolina Arts Council, The mission of the Arts Council is to make North Carolina a better state through the arts. The Arts Council provides technical assistance, information resources, and over 1,000 grants each year to nonprofit organizations and artists

• The North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources serves North Carolina’s citizens across the state in an outreach to broaden minds and spirits, preserve history and culture, and to recognize and promote our cultural resources as an essential element of North Carolina’s economic and social well being.

• Orange County Artists Guild   The Orange County Artists Guild is a non-profit organization seeking to increase the visibility and recognition of area artists and crafts people

• Orange County Arts Commission  The Orange County Arts Commission is a department of Orange County government which works to develop the arts in Orange County, North Carolina, which includes the townships of Chapel Hill, Hillsborough & Carrboro
  

• The Arts Center   in Carrboro, NC nourishes the arts, creativity and community through education, performance and exhibition.

• The Alliance for Historic Hillsborough, fostering community partnerships that enhance Hillsborough's cultural and economic future while preserving our past.

• The Cultural Center Committee is exploring ways to bring cultural spaces to downtown Hillsborough to house performances, visual art, art education for children and adults, and historical artifacts.
  

• Alternate ROOTS  supports the creation and presentation of original art which is rooted in a particular community of place, tradition or spirit. ROOTS is committed to social and economic justice and promoting a cohesive spirit among Southeastern artists of all disciplines through the exchange of work, skills, critical analysis and information.

• Americans for the Arts  is the nation's leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts in America. We are dedicated to representing and serving local communities and creating opportunities for every American to participate in and appreciate all forms of the arts.

• American Crafts Council  The mission of the Council is to promote understanding and appreciation of contemporary American craft.
  

• Community Arts Network   CAN maintains a site devoted to information exchange, research and critical dialogue within the field of community-based arts. The CAN web site is managed by Art in the Public Interest, who also publish an informative monthly email newsletter. API founders and long-time ROOTS members Linda Burnham and Steve Durland have been carrying the torch for activist art for many years now.

• Go Tour connects artists and art communities nationwide and provides a place to share services, goods and advice. This is a terrific resource for touring peforming artists. administrators, venues, and audiences
  

• National Endowment for the Arts,  Established in 1965 to foster, preserve, and promote excellence in the arts, to bring art to all Americans, and to provide leadership in arts education. An independent agency of the federal government, the Endowment is the nation's largest annual funder of the arts, bringing great art to all 50 states, including rural areas, inner cities, and military bases.

• National Performance Network  NPN provides support for established and emerging artists in dance, music, theater, performance art, puppetry, and spoken word. They help artists make work in their own neighborhoods, and to cross geographic and cultural divides to increase the traffic of fresh, challenging artistic work. Equally important, NPN connects artists with progressive presenters, arts organizations, and communities across the country.

• Dance USA  believes that dance is essential to a healthy society, demonstrating the infinite possibilities for human expression and potential, and facilitating communication within and across cultures.

• Southern Arts Federation  Supporting and promoting arts in the south.

• The Association of American Cultures TAAC convenes artists and cultural workers that are reflective of our pluralistic society to inform and advocate for democratic cultural policy.
  

• The Alliance for Young Artists & Writers  goals are to engage a broad cross section of American teenagers to identify creative potential and to showcase a high level of achievement.

• The Puffin Foundation opening the doors of artistic expression by providing grants to artists and art organizations who are often excluded from mainstream opportunities due to their race, gender, or social philosophy.
