Hillsborough Arts Council and
Purple Crow Books Presents
Arts Alive! Pages and Stages
Homeplaces Seen, Heard, and Sung
May 15, 2014 • 8:00 pm
Hillsborough delights residents and visitors alike with its historic homes and
buildings large and small. Among the smallest in town are the folk art
buildings of Randy Campbell and Steven Burke. The nationally unique
collection can show us much about our architectural heritage and, as works
of art, can illuminate our imaginations, making resonant our sense of place.
Through poems, fiction and songs, an our town of artists – eminent novelists,
singers, poets, and actors – will take us inside displayed collection buildings
to reveal the stories within.
