Hillsborough Art Walk Last Fridays happens rain or shine!

The Hillsborough Arts Council wants to help you celebrate the season with a special selection of handmade gifts, artwork, cards, and more. Shop for your home, your holiday table, your friends and family, and of course, yourself. The Gallery & Gift Shop Holiday Shop features work by local and regional artists, showcasing a wide selection of talented craftspeople in the area.
Works from “Paint It Orange: Plein Air Paint-Out and Wet Paint Sale” will remain on display at C3 Hillsborough (128 N. Churton Street) through December 24th.

Founded in 2006, the gallery is owned and operated by 22 local artists, featuring painting, sculpture, photography, glass art, jewelry, wood, pottery and fiber and textile arts.
The Art of Giving showcases giftable art and hand-made ornaments for the holiday season by HGA’s 22 member artists. November 12 – December 31. Reception Friday, Nov. 30th 6-9pm. Located at 121 N. Churton Street in historic Hillsborough NC, the gallery is owned and operated by 22 local artists featuring painting, sculpture, photography, pottery, jewelry, wood, glass & fiber arts. The Hillsborough Artists Cooperative, founded in 1992, is upstairs over Antonia's Restaurant. Studio artists are Jayne Bomberg and Tom Guthrie (The Studio of Collective Effervescence), Jennifer E. Miller, Andrea DeGette, Jacquelin Liggins, Roberta Wallace, Mame Cotter and Repo Nan. The Skylight Gallery features a different exhibition each Art Walk.
The Skylight Gallery presents “A Holiday Pop Up,” by Steven Brouillard, Debbie Suchoff and Anna Wallace featuring photography, drawings, jewelry, ceramics, wearable and fine art textiles. Join us for an opening reception November 30, 6-9pm. Pop Up will run through December 26.

Features local artists, with new exhibits for each Last Friday Art Walk. Oils, acrylics, photography, mixed media, collage, watercolors, colored pencils, stained glass, paper mache’, polymer clay, jewelry, fibers, and other media. Free children’s art corner so they can create while you browse.
As fall slips into winter, we enter a time of rest and restoration, a time of hope and joy in the wonders around us and the wonders to be. Local artists share images of celebration, and reasons for celebration and joy, in the winter season, using a range of media including acrylics, mixed media, oils, photography, stained glass and watercolor.
Show runs through December 23.
