The end of an era!

The wonderful writers Allan Gurganus and Michael Malone -- who fortunately have chosen to make Hillsborough their home - have enthralled us each year with their production of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" -- but they've decided that this year -- their 14th -- will be the last time. Don't miss out on this very special production. You'll leave with the true spirit of Christmas in your heart -- guaranteed! And Tiny Tim will be there, of course.

Both Performances are now SOLD OUT.

Meet the performers after the show at a reception and buy a raffle ticket for a chance at a gift certificate, DVD, signed manuscript -- or a surprise!

Allan Gurganus, a native of Rocky Mount, is an award winning essayist, novelist and short story writer whose work appears in The New York Times as well as other publications. His latest novella is Local Souls. Visit his web site for information about his work and appearances.

Michael Malone is a successful writer in many arenas -- head writer for daytime drama, successful novels (Uncivil Season, Handling Sin, and many more), essays, stage dramas. He loves to inspire local theater productions. MIchael is currently a professor at Duke University.
