"This is original music at it's best. From the funky beat of "No Get Back" and "People Make The World Go Round" to the jazzy vocal stylings of "Bye Bye Blackbird", Tuckers expressive voice has depth and range laced with not just technical expertise but true soul. Her unique Cello playing is icing on the cake..."

"Shine is the latest solo recording from the multi-talented, vocalist, Shana Tucker, also plays the cello and guitar on this bright, bluesy, jazzy album. ...they tell a story , that’s what a work of art should do"

Larry Reni Thomas JAZZTIMES

"You rarely see Joni Mitchell invoked as a reference point...it isn't because Mitchell isn't one of the greats. It's because her music is so uniquely individual that few can follow her. But in Shana Tucker we have a worthy successor.”
