Help local teachers teach creatively!
Through partnership between Orange County Schools, the Hillsborough Arts Council, our generous drop-off sites, and volunteers, ArtCycle is a program that collects and distributes donations of art & school supplies in new or good condition to local classrooms and arts education programming.
On August 25, 2023, Last Fridays & the Art Walk will be specially themed around Arts Education, highlighting the importance of creative learning and honoring the dedication of educators committed to supporting it.
We invite anyone able and joining us at August’s Last Friday to donate in support of tactile and creative learning for students in our area.

How to Participate:
1. See list of Most Needed Supplies, provided by OCS Teachers. Click on the icons in the top right corner of the PDF viewer to print or download.

2. Collect supplies in new or good condition.
3. Bring supplies to donate for the ArtCycle Supply Drive to the August 25 Last Fridays Makers Market, 5:30 - 8:30 pm, on the Old Orange County Courthouse lawn.

Supplies can also be ordered online and delivered directly to OCS via the Amazon Wish List (button below).

Drop-off boxes are also now stationed at multiple downtown Hillsborough locations to collect donations year-round!
*All donations benefit classrooms in Orange County Schools and accessible arts education programming.

HAC in partnership with the Orange County Schools Director of the Arts, Shannon Braxton, has created a public Amazon “Wishlist” where area residents can purchase items any time to be sent directly to Orange County classrooms.

Volunteer to Support ArtCycle!

Year-Round Drop-Off:
Donate supplies in person using the year-round ArtCycle drop-off boxes at one of the following locations. Donated supplies will be delivered to participating OCS classrooms & arts education programs by HAC volunteers!
